Neighborhood Connections TeamMANATEE COUNTY, FL (February 28, 2025) – The entire community is invited to attend the 2025 Manatee County Neighborhood Summit from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Friday, March 28, at the Manatee County Civic Center, located at 1 Haben Blvd., Palmetto, FL 34221.

Hosted by the Manatee County Neighborhood Connections staff, this free half-day program is designed to bring together neighborhood leaders, volunteers, and community partners. Participants will gain valuable insights and resources through workshops, panel discussions, and networking.

Representatives from Manatee County Government, the Florida Department of Transportation, the School District of Manatee County, and other organizations will also be in attendance. Presentations on upcoming road projects, neighborhood leadership and information on the upcoming Citizen’s Academy will bring residents up to speed on great ways to become more engaged with their community.

“It’s a great first step in getting involved with your community,” said Manatee County Commission Chair George Kruse. “Being informed and engaged helps keep our community strong.”
